·         Infer that our sense organs make us aware of things around us

·         Observe the parts of the sense organs from models and explain how they work

·         Practice desirable health habits that will help prevent/control common ailments and help remain the senses healthy

 

II.               Subject Matter

Topic: Some Organs and their Senses

Reference: Reading in Science 3, pp.1-8

Materials: pictures, perfume, rotted mango, stone, apple, chocolate shake, ampalaya shake,    MP3 player and whistle

 

III.           Procedure

1.       Simple prayer

2.      Checking of attendance

3.      Gaining attention

4.      Stimulating recall of the previous lesson

5.      Presentation of the new lesson

6.      Activity

7.      Drill and discussion

8.      Practice test

9.      Generalization

 

IV.             Evaluation

Write “T” if the statement is TRUE and “F” if the statement is FALSE.

Place it in a one-half sheet of paper.

1.       We use our ears to see things surrounding us.

2.      Our tongue helps us to talk, taste and eat foods.

3.      We use our nose for breathing and smelling.

4.      With our ears, we can listen to music.

5.      Our skin is not for feeling objects.

Draw 3-5 kinds of animals. Place it in your notebook.

ICQShort for I Seek You, ICQ is an Instant Messenger that allows you to quickly send messages to one or multiple users. The above illustration is an example of what ICQ's interface looks like. ICQ is a very simple to use application that allows members to send messages, URLs, images, and files to other ICQ members.


Electronic commerce, commonly known as e-commerce, is a type of industry where buying and selling of product or service is conducted over electronic systems such as the Internet and other computer networks. Electronic commerce draws on technologies such as mobile commerce, electronic funds transfer, supply chain management, Internet marketing, online transaction processing, electronic data interchange (EDI), inventory management systems, and automated data collection systems. Modern electronic commerce typically uses the World Wide Web at least at one point in the transaction's life-cycle, although it may encompass a wider range of technologies such as e-mail, mobile devices social media, and telephones as well.
Electronic commerce is generally considered to be the sales aspect of e-business. It also consists of the exchange of data to facilitate the financing and payment aspects of business transactions.

WebQuest

*How WebQuest can be an important source of information for projects.
Discuss the following:

1. Does it merely provide data or information?
* Definitely yes. WebQuest provides adequate information by which anybody can access to. WebQuests gives anybody an opportunity to explore deeper and more useful informations. It actively promotes information literacy, critical thinking, deeper learning.

2. What does the WebQuest also provide?
* It also provides lots of useful resources where in we can access learning. In here, we can automatically examine if we are fun of using such strategies just to learn. It says that learning is a painful process and really it is but you would only find out later that satisfaction has been met because of this discovery learning through actual hands-on activities provided. WebQuest emphasizes the collaborative work and learning that can occur when educators take advantage of all that the Internet has to offer.

3. Will Webquest suffice in case of local/domestic problems/questions, such as the definition of "Filipino" among patriots of the 1896 Philippine revolution?
